Privacy policy

Last updated

In plain language

  • We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, with Google’s advertising features turned off. You choose whether to allow its cookies, and can change that anytime.
  • If you send us a message, we receive your name, email, and what you wrote, and we use it only to reply.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (like IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.
  • We don’t sell or rent your information. You can ask us to see or delete what you’ve sent us at any time.

This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.

Who we are

This policy covers artimovo.com, operated by Artimovo (“we,” “us”). Our ventures, such as Slop Mop, operate their own websites and products under their own privacy policies.

What we collect

When you contact us

If you use the form on our Build With Us page, we receive the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, organization, role, and message. The form is processed by our form provider, Formspree, which delivers the message to us and stores it on our behalf.

When you browse

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically processes technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what device and browser they use, and actions such as playing our video, opening a question in our FAQ, or sending the contact form. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to recognize returning browsers. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we do not send your name, email, or message to Google Analytics. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser or with Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Your cookie choices

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies, and you can change your answer anytime with Cookie settings in the footer. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them. Elsewhere they are on unless you decline. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a decline. If you decline, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser; Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (such as a page load) without identifiers, which we use only in aggregate. We never use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

On your device

If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser remembers that choice in local storage on your device. It is never sent to us. We do not set advertising cookies.

How we use it

  • To read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it (Google Analytics).
  • To keep the site available, secure, and free of abuse (for example, filtering spam submissions).
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run this site, under terms that limit how they may use it: Vercel (hosting), Formspree (form processing and delivery), and Google (analytics). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Artimovo or others.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and maintain our correspondence, and delete them when they’re no longer needed. Hosting logs are kept for limited periods set by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve sent us, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact us through the Build With Us form and tell us what you’d like us to do.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here.
